This Christmas I received a gift I didn’t expect to get: I found out Telstra’s loyalty program, Telstra Thanks, has sold over 1 million $10 movie tickets to our staff and customers.
When we launched Telstra Thanks in March 2013 the thought of hitting that massive number was something I dreamed about but didn’t dare say out loud. Now I’m so happy we have achieved it and have given our customers the tangible and entertainment rewards they deserve.
We’ve also been able to provide a range of ‘money can’t buy experiences’ for our customers like budding actor and Telstra customer, Matt Johnson, who won a walk on role in the latest Ewan McGregor movie Son Of A Gun and five year old Jayden who will become his own Lego character in the new Lego movie – all with Telstra Thanks.
We also hosted a number of Anchorman 2 parties giving hundreds of customers a VIP experience complete with a 70’s pool party and gold class screening of the movie.

This is what our loyalty program is all about, saying ‘thanks’ to our customers for sticking with us by providing rewards that literally millions of customers can access.
We began with movies; we are now well underway with music and sport and have even more exciting rewards announcements to come.
