Ever wanted to take that 3-D experience that wowed you in the cinema with you? Well soon Telstra customers can.
In September, Telstra will launch the HTC EVO 3D — its first-ever 3-D smartphone.
It features a 4.3-inch screen that allows people to access 3-D movies and games wherever they like. And thanks to some clever screen technology there’s no need to use special glasses. As well as enjoying apps and mobile web browsing, owners are going to love how 3-D content leaps from this giant smartphone screen.
The EVO 3-D is also built to capture life in three dimensions. Its twin 5 mega-pixel cameras can shoot both 3-D video and 3-D photography and makes capturing and sharing experiences with friends that little bit more exiting and immersive.
Customers will also have lots of fun streaming the growing collection of 3-D videos posted on YouTube.
The HTC EVO 3D is also a technically sophisticated smartphone featuring a qHD display and a powerful 1.2 GHz Qualcomm® Snapdragon® dual-core processor. It combines the very latest Android™ 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating software and HTC Sense, allowing customers to totally customise the phone with thousands of Android™ apps, widgets and games and ensuring they get access to the information and entertainment that matters to them most.
Pricing for HTC EVO 3D on the Telstra Next G® network will be announced a little closer to launch.
