We’re going to combine Microsoft’s global leadership in providing productivity and collaboration services to enterprise customers worldwide, with the strength of Telstra’s networks, mobility and enterprise collaboration assets.

The result? The partnership means Australian businesses can have the full scope of Office 365 cloud productivity and collaboration apps, video conferencing and meeting broadcast capabilities, along with Telstra voice services into Cloud-PBX delivered either in the cloud or at a customers’ premise.

Skype for Business (Microsoft’s meetings and voice communications offering in Office 365) will be paired with Telstra managed voice services and network assessments to deliver a comprehensive productivity and collaboration solution. With these enhanced capabilities, Australian businesses will benefit from the increased productivity of a truly mobilised workforce, where employees have the ability to work anywhere, anytime and on any device, where there is connectivity.

We’re confident that the solution will help to transform workplace communications, liberating employees to work seamlessly in any time zone and from any location, whether this be in the office on their PC, in an airport lounge on their laptop or simply at home on their mobile device. The new Skype for Business solution from Telstra will have an option for everyone.
