Australian futurist Ross Dawson is predicting small and medium sized businesses will either perish or prosper in the next 10 years, as technology advances at an exponential rate and businesses adapt with varying degrees of success.

As Ross explains in this video, innovation and the effective use of technology are becoming increasingly important to company performance and are two key factors contributing to the widening gap between high performers and those who remain at a standstill.

In addition, the tide is turning for large companies who’ve long held the market advantage due to their size, with small nimble companies now able to compete and outmaneuver large corporates with technology helping them enter markets rapidly and at scale.
