At Telstra we believe everyone should be able to enjoy the benefits of being connected and over the past two years our Tech Savvy Seniors program has been the cornerstone of our digital literacy agenda.

Through partnerships with the NSW and Victorian governments, we have provided training to over 26,000 people since 2014, helping them to gain the confidence and skills to participate safely in the digital world.

Last month we released an independent evaluation, conducted by the University of Melbourne, which concluded almost 90 per cent of participants in the Tech Savvy Seniors program in NSW found it to be helpful in increasing their knowledge or confidence in using new technologies.

The study also found that for every dollar invested in the Tech Savvy Seniors program, almost $11 in social value is created.

These findings speak powerfully to the social and economic benefits of participating in the online world.

If you or someone you know would benefit from this training, I encourage you to visit our website for more information.
