Justice League (BigPond Movies)

February is a big month for comic book fans on Telstra TV, with DC’s JUSTICE LEAGUE out this week on BigPond Movies, ahead of Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok release next week. When the fate of the mankind is threatened by supervillain Steppenwolf and his Parademon army, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) enlist the help of Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg to save the planet from becoming transformed into a post-apocalyptic hellscape. Amy Adams and Henry Cavill top off the all-star cast as Lois Lane and Clark Kent/Superman.

Here and Now (Foxtel Now)

Here and Now on Telstra TV

New to Foxtel Now is HERE AND NOW, an intriguingly mystical family drama series from Alan Ball – the Oscar and Emmy winning creator of True Blood and Six Feet Under. Starring Holly Hunter as a hippy former therapist and Tim Robbins as her depressed philosophy professor husband, the show delves into the complex lives of their multiracial family of grown-up adopted children. The characters are diverse, flawed and full of contradictions – and one of them is plagued by some spooky coincidences that become increasingly supernatural as the show progresses.

Queer Eye (Netflix)

It’s been just over a decade since the original series ended, but QUEER EYE is now back on Netflix with a new “fab five” to make-over the lives of some very lucky Average Joes. Get ready for a real tear-jerker, as each episode the crew work to dramatically improve a guy’s self-esteem by transforming his wardrobe, grooming, diet, home decor and social life. You may also recognise fan favourite of the series, hairstylist/grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness, from his hilarious Game of Thrones recap series, ‘Gay of Thrones’ – available on YouTube.

2018 NAB AFL Women’s Competition (AFL App)

Catch every thrilling moment of the 2018 NAB AFL WOMEN’S COMPETITION, with live streaming of every match on the AFL app on Telstra TV and through the AFLW mobile app. In round 3 starting Saturday 17 February from 2pm (AEDT), last year’s premiers host one of this year’s competition favourites, the Western Bulldogs.
