We are definitely in an age where social media has moved beyond merely being a vehicle for sharing status updates and photos with friends or following your favourite celeb on Twitter. All valid (and fun) purposes of course but at Telstra we know there’s much more that we can do to engage with you.
We were one of the first Australian companies to provide help and support beyond our website, in fact we’ve been servicing BigPond® customers on Twitter since 2008– but we’re always on the lookout for new places to listen, share, interact and help you with Telstra products and services. That’s why today we’re excited to announce our newest online presence – on Google+.
If you haven’t heard of Google+, it’s rapidly growing new social service that introduces new ways for people and businesses to interact online, known as Circles, Hangouts and Sparks. What makes it different is it lets you decide how to interact and share with your friends, acquaintances and pages – making it easier to communicate with people in groups and share the right information with the right people.
At Telstra we talk about ‘the power of connections’, we’re here to make it easier for you to connect with us – that means being where you are online and being available when you need us.
Have an Android Phone? Stay connected to Google+ using the official app, also available on other mobile devices.
We’ll actively use Google+ as a way to showcase what’s going on in different parts of the Telstra world, whether it’s the latest in innovation, technology or products, or what’s happening in our industry. Our Adelaide based team are available 24/7 so you have support when you need it – you just need to add us to one of your circles so we can help.
Google+ is a place for us to engage with you – whether you are a tech enthusiast, an everyday gadget user or a mobile customer – and that’s just the beginning. Drop us a line below or add us to one of your circles on Google +
See you online soon.
