Our friends over at Motorola Mobility have been busy preparing some blockbuster smartphones. Overnight they announced three new models and we’re pleased to confirm that we’re bringing two to Australia.

The great news is that both models can run on Telstra’s network at 4G speeds making it faster to browse, stream and upload on the move when in Telstra 4G coverage areas.*

Motorola RAZR HD

First up is the new Motorola RAZR HD which (as the name would suggest) features a 4.7-inch HD display that has the same sharp clarity as an HDTV.

It also has a massive battery for all-day endurance. With its huge battery Motorola reckons RAZR HD customers will be able to watch, tweet, talk and browse for longer on a single charge.

The Motorola RAZR HD will be coming exclusively to Telstra customers in the last three months of 2012.

Motorola RAZR M

The second of the two new smartphones is the Motorola RAZR M which packs a big screen into a phone that fits in the palm of your hand. The Super AMOLED Advanced 4.3-inch display stretches from edge-to-edge. The border you typically find on smartphones is virtually gone. You can type emails and texts easily with a wider keyboard, enjoy YouTube™ videos and movies on a wider screen and browse the web.

The RAZR M is protected by an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, DuPont™ KEVLAR® fiber , Corning Gorilla Glass and a splash-guard coating.

Motorola RAZR M is easy to use too. It comes with interactive, swipe-by-swipe tutorials that walk you through the setup and help customise your phone – no instruction manual required.

The Motorola RAZR M will be coming exclusively to Telstra customers in the last three months of 2012.

We’re pretty excited by these upcoming additions to our 4G smartphone range.

*4G coverage is available in all capital cities, associated airports and selected regional locations. Capital city means within 5km from the GPO and within 3km from the town centre for regional locations. Actual speeds vary due to factors like distance from the base station, local terrain, user numbers, hardware & software configuration and download source/upload destination. When outside the 4G/LTE areas Telstra 4G devices automatically switch over to Telstra’s advanced High Speed Packet Access or HSPA enabled 3G network which is available across more than 2.2M km2 to 99% of the population.
