Okay guys. Time to pack your cutlery and a few serviettes because the annual winter culinary food and wine festival season is in full swing – and it’s happening Australia-wide.
So, regardless of where you live or who you like to break (gluten-free) bread with, ’tis the season to share the joy of a great meal and good wine with loved ones.
Here’s some food and wine destinations that, given half the chance, I’ll be lining up for seconds at.
WA – Perth Food & Wine Show
Kicks off on July 10 and runs until the 12th. Taste cider and beer, watch celebrity chefs do their thing, there is plenty on show.

QLD – Good Food Month – Brisbane
It’s Brisbane’s turn from July 9 and there is plenty in store for locals. Head to the Night Noodle Markets or try delicious dishes from a variety of Brisbane’s best restaurants.

And of course while you’re there you can always check out The Big Prawn.
Victoria – Melbourne Winter Night Market
Never one to be left out when we start talking about food, Melbourne’s ever popular Night Market at Queen Victoria Markets has started its Winter series, mulled wine, dumplings & live music, it’s all there for you to enjoy.
