After a stop-start year for footy, the AFL is back for 2021. We’re here to help you stay on top of all the games in the 2021 season.

This year’s AFL season will bring 22 matches across 23 rounds, with a rolling fixture set to continue to keep the games as flexible as possible.

The first block of six rounds has been announced, with a number of Thursday night games added to the schedule.

AFL and AFLW codes will feature double headers in rounds one and two, and the first block of the new fixture will conclude with the ANZAC Appeal Round under lights at the MCG on April 25.

How to watch AFL games live in 2021

Earlier in the year, we announced that we’d be changing the way you watch AFL games with us. You can still use the Official AFL Live app for everything you love, from match replays, live scores, highlights, stats and more.

The AFL Live app will also bring with it new features we dreamed up during the off-season, including Augmented Reality team line-ups and new ways to view stats for your favourite club.

And for those who want to watch the games live, Kayo has you covered.

Eligible customers who have previously used the AFL Live Pass will now receive a special offer from Telstra of $20/month off Kayo’s Basic subscription (usually $25/month) for 12 months – meaning you can enjoy all the sports you want with Kayo for just $5/month for 12 months.

If you’re a Telstra mobile customer, but haven’t watched AFL or NRL games on our apps before, we’re also offering $10/month off Kayo for you to get into the footy craze.

With these exclusive offers, you’ll be able to catch the action from a line-up of more than 50 of the best international and domestic sports in 2021.

Kayo also takes sports streaming to another level offering multiple sports on multiple screens at once. With features like SplitView on selected devices, you can watch up to four events at once so you don’t miss a minute, even when scheduling conflicts happen for those big games.

We’re excited to hear the roar of the crowds once again, with the power of technology bringing us all closer than ever to the games we love.
