With more data and applications than ever moving to the cloud, how do organisations continue to deliver the performance needed for bandwidth intensive applications, and provide high quality end user experiences? There is no shortage of options for connecting to the cloud – but few that are seamless from branch sites through to multiple cloud and data centre locations. And even fewer that are equipped to handle the flexibility and API driven nature of cloud.
Today, we’re thrilled to announce that we are among the first to achieve the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Networking Competency status. AWS is without a doubt a global leader in hyperscale cloud, and this designation underscores Telstra’s ability to deliver cloud networking solutions, along with the expertise to help our Enterprise customers adopt, develop and deploy secure connectivity for AWS.
This recognition builds on our extraordinarily strong reputation for secure and reliable networks – now applied to solve the challenges of cloud networking, proven with hundreds of customers. It also distinguishes us amongst the AWS Partner Network member, for our specialised technical proficiency and skills specific to cloud connectivity.
We’re very proud to achieve this competency status. As hybrid cloud emerges as the strategy of choice for most enterprises, our team has never been more focused on transforming the network experience for enterprise – to be simpler, more flexible, and hybrid ready (if you haven’t heard about Telstra Programmable Network or Cloud Gateway yet, then you need to read about the vision here and the latest launch here)
Cloud is often described as a journey rather than a destination, and in many ways this achievement is another important chapter in our cloud journey. But more importantly – if you’re a business simply starting out on your cloud journey or seeking to optimise a complex hybrid cloud environment, you can be confident we can help.
