Jillian Riseley
Jill has an accomplished background in Sustainability, Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations across corporate, cultural and government sectors. As General Manager, Digital Inclusion at Telstra, Jill leads Telstra’s social investment strategy and directly oversees the $230 million per annum regulatory and voluntary social investment, policies and strategies for digital inclusion programs, initiatives and partnerships including accessibility, cyber safety, disability services and education programs such as Connected Seniors. Prior to joining Telstra, Jill was GM of Sustainability and Corporate Reputation and member of the Senior Leadership Team at Sensis. Under her stewardship, Sensis has received numerous awards and has been named one of Australia’s Top Listed Companies by the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility for two years running (2010 and 2011). Sensis was also recognised by the Australian Government for its leadership in combating climate change, in particular the carbon neutral certification of the Yellow Pages and White Pages (an industry world first). Jill is a highly regarded leader in her industry and is considered one of Australia’s preeminent professionals in corporate community investment and is Chair of the London Benchmarking Group Australia/New Zealand. Jill currently sits on a number of community boards including Streetsmart Australia and Greenskills as well as the Federal Government’s Consultative Working Group into Cyber Safety and Security.
