Chris Smith has been active in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. As Executive Director of Telstra’s Business Technology Services group, he is responsible for bringing to market a broad portfolio of advisory and professional services that have, at their core, an enthusiasm to create brilliant outcomes for customers.
Chris is strongly focused on how enhanced service provider integration can improve business outcomes for our customers, particularly in multi-sourced environments. His team strives for service delivery excellence, while helping ensure customer’s access to IT systems and applications, regardless of the location of their infrastructure or end users.
Prior to joining Telstra, Chris served in executive product management, sales and delivery roles in software and services companies in Australia, the USA and the UK, working with incumbent and competitive operators across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
Chris is actively engaged in Telstra’s Diversity and Inclusion program and is part of a network of Business Unit leaders who oversee Telstra’s “Men’s Responsibility for Gender Equality” initiative.
