Alicia has over 12 years’ experience working in management consulting, recruitment, policy development and diversity and inclusion across a number of industries – finance and consulting, insurance, not for profit, manufacturing and telecommunications in both Australia and the UK.
In her current role at Telstra, Alicia is responsible for designing diversity, inclusion, leadership products and solutions to provide a great employee experience for Telstra people. Alicia managed Telstra’s White Ribbon accreditation in 2013. Telstra was the first large corporate organisation to be recognised taking active and effective steps to stop men’s violence against women. Alicia led Telstra’s work around disability and accessibility, and rolled out a suite of tools for managers and team members to personalise the work space for people with disability, and supported the roll out of All Roles Flex, where flexibility is the starting position for all roles at Telstra.
Alicia has degrees in Behavioural Neuroscience, Psychology and Nutrition. Alicia has just returned from Geneva, where she completed an internship with the International Labour Organisation Gender, Equality and Diversity team. Alicia started her career as an Employment Manager with a Disability Employment Service provider.
