LOOKS AND FEELS AWESOME

With the S6 we saw a huge leap from Samsung in terms of the Galaxy look and feel. With the S7 they’ve continued the premium metal and polished glass design and with good reason – the phones look very slick, particularly the edge with its dual curved screen. Both phones are available in Black, Silver and Gold so you can choose one that best suits your style.

ELEMENT RESISTANT

Just when you thought it wasn’t possible to have a phone that not only looked good but was built for an active lifestyle – that’s exactly what Samsung is bringing to the table. The beautifully crafted Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are water, dust and sand resistant.

For the super tech savvy out there, this means that the new Galaxy smartphones are IP68 rated meaning they can be submerged in water up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes.

CHANGE YOUR REALITY

Quality screens are something Samsung have come to be known for – and the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are no exceptions. Both have Quad HD Super AMOLED displays giving an incredibly vivid experience. And with a great screen comes great possibilities for viewing content on these new smartphones, especially when it comes to virtual reality (VR). They will whisk you away into another world when you pair them with Samsung Gear VR which you might be pleased to know we’ll be offering free as a gift with purchase during pre-order.

FAST AND RELIABLE

When it comes to enjoying the things you love most on your device, the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge are built for high speed web browsing on the Telstra mobile network.  Both devices are Cat 9 meaning they are capable of download speeds of up to 350Mbps (typical download speeds are 5-150Mbps in 4GX areas and 2-50Mbps in 4G areas).

The GS7 and GS7 edge also support next-generation voice calling (voice over LTE) on our network which delivers high-definition voice quality and faster call set up times. Also, both devices have been given Telstra’s Blue Tick rating meaning they offer our our customers in regional and rural the best handheld coverage performance in regional coverage areas.

PHOTOS IN A FLASH

It’s true that having a great camera on our phone has become a modern day necessity and you’ll enjoy snapping away on the S7 and S7 edge. Samsung’s new Dual Sensor camera looks set to deliver true-to-life picture resolution, coupled with impressive lowlight performance. What more could you ask for?Lifestyle_16_S7

EXPANDABLE MEMORY

Taking so many selfies that you’re running out of space on your phone? Fear not! The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge come with 32GB memory and micro SD support so you can add up to 200GB of extra memory.

WIRELESS CHARGING

This has to be one of my favourite features because of its simplicity. Just make sure you’re equipped with a wireless charger and it’s as simple as putting your new Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge down on the pad and letting it charge without messing about with cords and cables.
