For more than a decade we’ve offered Telstra mobiles designed for specific types of customers — from phones for tradies, to basic phones for people who are just into talk and text, through to phones for our older customers.

With the launch of the Telstra Signature Premium we’re introducing a mobile that caters to a broad smartphone generation looking for high-quality product design at an affordable price.

Here’s why it’s worth a look when choosing your next upgrade.

The latest network tech

Whether you’re browsing the web, sharing photos or streaming video, having snappy mobile web connection is important.  The Telstra Signature Premium is a 4GX device meaning that it can deliver typical download speeds of between 2Mbps to 100Mbps in 4GX areas.

It also supports next-generation voice calling (voice over LTE) so you can enjoy high-definition quality voice calls and better call setup times than you have experienced before.

And because it’s a Telstra Signature device, it will also be one of the first smartphones to benefit from two mobile network innovations set to launch shortly:

  • Voice over Wi-Fi – while most of our customers enjoy great mobile coverage in most areas, getting coverage in nooks and crannies of our customers’ homes can be a challenge. That’s why we’re introducing this clever technology that uses the Telstra Wi-Fi network to hand calls between our 4G network and the customers’ home or office Wi-Fi gateway.
  • Video over LTE – being able to make a high quality video call to friends and family is a modern convenience we all enjoy and with Video over LTE it’s about to get even more convenient! On future compatible devices like the Telstra Signature Premium you’ll be able to make a video call when you are connected to the internet just like you would a make a voice call with the video button embedded into the dial pad.

High quality features

As the flagship in our Telstra mobile range, the Signature Premium is engineered by HTC and lives up to its name with features we think you’ll love like an HD screen, Dolby Audio Surround as well as a 13 megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization.

It’s friendly on the hip pocket

From the outset we wanted the Signature Premium to offer the best smartphone features at a great-value price so it’s available with a range of Go Mobile plans and Go Business Mobile plans or outright for $648RRP.  At the moment, you can get it for $0 on a $70 Go Mobile Plan for 24 months (min cost $1,680).
