Great news for those of you who appreciate beautiful industrial design: the next generation of HTCs flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8) will be hitting Telstra stores next Tuesday 1 April 2014.
And if you can’t wait until then to secure one, you can pre-order it from today.
Last year’s HTC One was a huge hit with customers. This year’s release will be just as popular.
HTC have continued with their stunning design and quality. It’s arguably the best-looking smartphone anywhere. The device boasts an all-metal body with zero-gap construction. The screen features the same scratch resistant Full HD (1080p) resolution as its predecessor, but is now a little bigger at 5-inches. The trademark two front-facing stereo speakers make a return combined with dedicated amplifiers to deliver amazing sound that brings music and videos to life.
One of the most exciting changes to the HTC One (M8) is the introduction of the Duo Camera. The two cameras on the rear of the device allow you to edit memories like a professional, even after you’ve taken the shot. You can choose where to focus, highlight what you love, soften backgrounds and even add 3D effects.
For the tech-heads amongst us, the HTC One (M8) comes with a faster 2.5GHz Quad-Core processor and more powerful 2600MAh battery as well as 16GB of storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
HTC have also released a new version of their Android software HTC Sense. HTC Sense 6.0 is simpler and comes with features such as double tapping your screen to turn it on, swipe to access your favourite apps via BlinkFeed and access your favourite news and social media feeds.
The HTC One (M8) is Australia’s first smartphone compatible with Telstra’s recently acquired 700MHz spectrum.
