What a hectic start to the year it’s been. Can you believe it’s already nearly April?!
We’re not even half way through 2013 and Russia has already survived a meteor shower; North Korea has tested nuclear weapons; the Vatican has a new pope (he has a busy weekend ahead of him); and Cyprus has just received a massive financial bailout.
Closer to home, in Australia we have experienced devastating extreme weather; witnessed a leadership spill; watched Black Caviar make her comeback; and said “g’day” to Ellen Degeneres when she dropped past.
Here at Telstra and the Telstra Exchange we started the year running by rebuilding and reconnecting services damaged by the Queensland and NSW floods as well as Tasmanian bushfires. We launched new BlackBerry, LG and Sony mobiles; went to America for SXSW and Barcelona for Mobile World Congress; revamped our offer summaries; introduced a new loyalty program; started scouting for this year’s Telstra Business Awards nominees; spread some love around town and kept busy migrating an exchange – and that’s just to name a few.
So at the Telstra Exchange we’re taking the long weekend to hunt for chocolate.
Wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday, particularly on the roads this Easter period.
See you all on Tuesday.
