As a Product Manager in mobile applications and services, Robert’s responsibilities include conceiving and launching new consumer mobile products, and managing products already in the market. He has an Honours degree in Computer Science majoring in digital electronics, and an MBA.
In previous roles at telecommunications equipment manufacturers, Robert worked first as an engineer, and then in marketing and product management, travelling extensively to the Americas, Europe and north Asia to help local sales people and understand market trends and customer needs. It is only more recently that Robert has turned his hand to consumer products.
When not renovating his house or playing Hungry Hungry Hippo with his young daughter, he enjoys travelling, cycling, and crashing expensive model helicopters. Robert hopes that one day his colleagues (and his Wife) will come to realize that all that time he spends on social networking sites is actually a bone fide part of his job!
