Richard Reed...

  • BA Team Manager,
  • Government South
  • Richard has had various stints as a contractor with Telstra until December 2011 when he became a permanent fixture within Professional Services. Richard has worked across various industries previously, from oil and utility companies, banking, finance and superannuation, before settling into Telstra and contributing to the Origin Transition and Transformation Program, the Emergency Alert Program and currently the Australia Post Transition and Transformation Program.

Originally from Wales, Richard got his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic and Microelectronic Systems Engineering in Manchester before absconding to London. A keen traveller, Richard spent time travelling through Europe, along Africa’s East Coast, up and down Americas West and East Coast, and taking in the fantastic Trans-Mongolian Railway. Longing to spend a bit more time travelling (and less time working!), Richard then took a year out and drove from London to Sydney through Europe, the Middle East and Asia raising awareness for the charity ActionAid, and writing for a Land Rover magazine in the process. And now...time for another little adventure!
