Richard is the Victoria/Tasmania Regional Sales & Service Director in Telstra Country Wide.

Prior to this role, Richard has held many Director level positions within the mobile products team, covering device management and operations, core voice services and messaging, to consumer and business applications. Richard played a key role in the services roadmap that complimented Telstra’s award winning Next G network rollout, including delivery of mobile TV, music, user interface and social networking initiatives.

Richard has been with Telstra for more than 10 years, and has held executive positions in a variety of areas across strategy, marketing and product development. Prior to joining Telstra, Richard worked with Andersen in Australia.

He has a Bachelor of Laws (majoring in commercial law), and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment.

Telstra connects Perth school children to James Cameron on Mermaid Sapphire

It’s not every day you get to speak to an explorer who is also a Hollywood film director. So you can only imagine the excitement as children at Roseworth Primary School in Perth were told that they would be the only kids in Australia that would chat live to James Cameron on a ship in the Pacific Ocean.
