Outside of work, Michael spends his time volunteering as a Medical Emergency First Responder, and works with families of children with cancer, and spent a year as a Prison Chaplain. Michael has been involved in fundraising for the Leukaemia Foundation for the past 9 years through the World’s Greatest Shave. For relaxation, Michael collects old Mickey Mouse toys and watches, and has been a student and fan of magic for several years.

Then the smart phone came along with touch screens and lots of wonderful and powerful applications. And guess what – the screens started to grow again – this time in parallel to the user’s status.

CES 2012 – close up from afar part 2

So the doors have officially opened, with over 3,100 companies showcasing more than 20,000 new products. “The 2012 International CES is”, according to Gary Shairpo, President and CEO, CEA “the world’s largest hub for consumer technology innovation”. Focus will be on ultrabooks, digital health products and connected TVs (as opposed to 3D TVs the previous two years).
