Mark Young is a Healthcare Business Development Manager in Telstra’s Marketing, Strategy and Development group. Mark has previously worked in Forensics, Ecology, Fraud Control and Intelligence and Investigative solutions prior to deciding that Healthcare was a safer option.
Mark is a baby boomer granddad and is pleased to have learned how to pontificate to Gen Y’s within their 30 second attention span. He was born in Scotland, became an Australian citizen on Bicentennial year and lives in Canberra with his German born wife, giving him 3 reasons to annoy his English friends.
He also has a dog called Echo (as he needs to be called several times before taking any notice) and a cat called Wednesday, which causes great confusion when making Vet appointments for her.

I was reflecting on many of the changes in healthcare over my lifetime – a fairly lengthy period proven by the fact that I remember various infectious diseases which were once prevalent and have now been largely eradicated through advances in inoculation and new treatments.
