Kristen Boschma is Head of Online Communications and Social Media for Telstra. Kristen has held various senior communications roles in some other blue-chip companies in this and other countries. As well as being coy about her background, she is passionate about the use of language to motivate, move and inspire.

Her love of language has meant that she has written a play and knows how to say "thank you" in 22 languages. Other interests include travel (where a hearty "thank you" in the mother tongue never goes astray) and inventing recipes. Please note that dark chocolate Tim Tams and tinned beetroot don't work well together in a scone mix.

Kristen is on the board of The Melbourne Writers Festival.
