Gloria Farler joined Telstra four years ago bringing over 25 years of experience in market intelligence and market strategy in technology and telecommunications.
As an Executive Director in Strategic Marketing at Telstra, her role is to improve business performance by implementing processes in support of market-based management, including market insights, buyer segmentations, predictive marketing models, marketing training, and market metrics design and reporting.
Gloria relocated to Australia from Denver USA, where she headed a strategic marketing consulting firm, MarketWits, specializing in communications, Internet, and data networking strategies for a worldwide range of clients from entrepreneurial start-ups to multi-national enterprises. Prior to that Gloria was Executive Director, Strategic Marketing for US WEST, where she led multi-functional teams providing market strategy, market intelligence, and market performance measurement.
She has particular expertise in translating customer needs into relationship marketing strategies, and in designing customer-led product innovation.
Gloria holds Masters degrees in English and Mathematics, as well as an MBA. In her spare time, she writes insightful, humorous song parodies.
