Glenn Chisholm...

  • Chief Information Security Officer
  • Telstra
  • As Telstra’s Chief Information Security Officer Glenn is responsible for the operational and information security of Telstra’s networks, products and services. Glenn leads the Security Operations team, who with eagle like eyes monitor the network for suspicious activity and identify potential vulnerabilities in software and configurations that could be exploited – protecting Telstra and its customers from the growing threat of cyber crime.

Glenn’s passion for information security was fuelled at university where he discovered it wasn’t just about IT systems and technologies, but more importantly about peoples’ security conscious behaviours. Concerned that IT security is the most misunderstood and underappreciated field in the IT industry, Glenn has made it his mission to promote and inspire the best talent to the field that is rapidly becoming one of the hottest challenges of our time.

In his spare time, Glenn’s paranoia extends to making sure his family are never clicking on any great online one time offers and his favourite font is Comic Sans.
