  • I've worked in Testing and Management in Product Development for around 15 years. This has been mainly at companies in the Media Space (Canon, Apple, Quickcut, Adstream and BigPond/Telstra).

    Most recently, as a Product Manager at Telstra, I have extended this experience to a highly process driven, multi-layered environment. Dealing with the diverse divisions within the Telstra Group as well as multiple external vendors I help continue established relationships and develop new ones.

    In addition to developing quality products and maintaining existing ones, my focus has been on providing and improving services and value from a users perspective.

App of the week: Lookout Mobile Security, including Privacy Advisor

There’s been a lot of news recently about the personal and private information accessed by apps on my smartphone. If I use Facebook Places to share where I am with friends, it’s pretty obvious the Facebook app needs access to my location. However, sometimes apps access my info for reasons that are not so obvious.
