- I’m a product manager with Telstra’s mobile devices team. I look after the Nokia, Apple and Sony Ericsson mobile phones that Telstra launches (amongst other devices). My work includes deciding which phones to add to our range, testing phones, working through pricing, and product marketing.
Born and bred in Sydney, I have lived here all 28 years of my life. With every chance I get, I spend my time hiking, camping, travelling or playing soccer. I love anything out door and in recent years I participated in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, walked with wild gorillas in Rwanda and ran with the bulls in Spain. My next adventure will be to kayak part of Antarctica.
Starting off in Telstra Shops I have worked my way around the company over the last 9+ years during which time I also completed a degree in Computer Science and Information Systems. Spending every day working out how to bring the best devices to our customers also means I spend most days playing with some pretty cool toys.

It’s been interesting watching the first impressions of the Social Reviewers as people are either first time smart phone users or existing smart phone users. Regardless of what camp the user belongs in, there is a learning curve for everyone experiencing a new user interface (UI) for the first time.
