Chantal Walker is Director, Brand and Advertising for Telstra and spends most days in hyper-drive (and meetings). She describes a major part of her role as ‘herding cats’ – keeping a diverse group of creative and strategic people (both Telstra and agency) all on track and committed to producing world class marketing communications for Telstra. The ‘on track’ bit is the hard part as there seem to be new tracks sprouting all the time but she’s found that a healthy sense of humour fixes most things. She manages to combine her work role with that of raising three children and has been known to run team meetings from swimming carnivals. Her passions are her family, great brands, having fun, good friends and adventures.
Telstra is coming up with ways of encouraging people to take another look at our brand, to change their perceptions of it and cast it in a contemporary, more dynamic light.
