Brian Hennessy has been with Telstra for over 20 years and has an extensive background in telecommunications power and facilities infrastructure.

Brian has provided a lead role in driving energy reduction programs across the company including the development of a process to ensure that all land and buildings project planning incorporate a mandatory assessment to incorporate energy efficiency.

Brian currently manages the Energy and Greenhouse Management group that are responsible for energy and C02 emission reduction programs associated with Telstra Network Facilities.
Brian has also worked in Vietnam and Cambodia in 1996 training employees from Vietnam Telecom International (VTI) and Vietnam Postal and Telecommunications Group, (VNPT) in telecommunications power and facilities management practices.

Out of work, Brian is married with three children and enjoys travelling, hiking and cycling. Weekends are spent gardening, building and enjoying music.
