I joined Telstra almost 3 years ago and have held various software development roles in that time, the latest being Mobile Applications Development Lead. The team is currently focused on developing applications for the Android platform. Prior to that, I worked on various other projects including the T-Hub and Telstra’s Service Delivery Framework
I originally come from Dublin but call Sydney home after moving here 13 years ago. Before coming to Telstra I worked for various companies including Qantas and IOOF. I have a Bachelor in IT from RMIT and am currently working my way through a Masters of Finance with UTS. I have completed various software certifications from Sun Microsystems certifications (SCJP, SCBCD, SCWCD and SCDJWS) and am about to complete my Scrum Master certification.
When not working, my time is spent with my wife and 2 kids, renovating the house and the occasional drink with friends. I play various musical instruments, my favorite currently being the ukulele.

Working at Telstra has always presented me with new and interesting challenges. This was especially the case when earlier this year I was asked to lead a new mobile development team specializing in applications for Telstra’s Android devices.
