  • I started working with Telstra back in September 2008 and have enjoyed my journey ever since. I started out on the phones and then moved into the emails and live chat space.

    I have always enjoyed taking responsibility and gladly took up all the opportunities that came my way in my efforts to move forward in this space. I was first given the opportunity to lead email, phone, and live chat teams.

    I originally started with the Social Media team as a consultant and that was the best time I have ever had working as a consultant. The satisfaction of helping out the customer and case managing the enquiries are the biggest motivators in this space.

    In the last three months I have been appointed the role of leading this team and I must admit, this has been by far the biggest challenge in my career so far…

The Telstra / BigPond Social Media Team v2.0

We first introduced you to our Social Media team back in March , but since then there have been a few new members added to the team. This means we’ve been able to expand our operating hours – we’re now available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (CST) Monday to Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Sundays. Don’t be anti-social – drop a line to the Social Media team if there’s anything we may be able to help with!
