Let's do it. Got a little bit of a sleeve there. Been waiting for this one for a long time now. It's the new packaging from HTC, looks like the blue tick still hasn't come on this box yet. But it will be very good for our regional customers having the blue tick. Let's switch it on. Now with this one the first thing I notice it feels really nice in the hand the new design, it's actually quite light but still has that sturdy feel that HTCs have, really really nice. I like the, you see the little dock connecters. Yeah the little pogo pins. Pretty good and looks like they've gone to a micro SD. They have, they've packed a lot tech into the new camera. It's actually one of the better cameras you can get on a smart phone now. It's got a new f2.0 aperture which is the best on any phone available. Let's go through the rest of the box. Got a pretty standard package here, got headphones there, standard charger, standard micro USB. It's always good having micro USB you can find a spare charger around the house, pretty much anywhere. Alrighty we've got the HTC One XL here, let's get the sim card into it. There's a micro sim card, it's nice. Here you go. A lot of manufacturers are now going to go for this same sim tray design here. It's nice, I don't like changing my sim card. Okay let's turn it on. I like the feel of the phone. Yeah me too, it feels really nice in your hand, nice and sturdy but still very light. Look how thin it is, for a 4G phone it's amazing. With a massive screen. I love the screen because you could almost have it side on and still see it's got amazing viewing angle. So we've just put the sim card in. So now we've got a couple of set-up steps to go through with the android. You can skip through most of those though, that's easy. It's running ice-cream sandwich, so, it is, we got a couple of main advantages here. The first one is the new buttons. There's no hardware buttons in it, we do have 3 buttons down here. We've got our back our home and our app switcher which is a new feature in ice-cream sandwich. With this it means you can quickly just slide away applications you'd like to close. It makes it a lot easier to manage what's running. Also this has 32 gig of memory. 24 gig user available, roughly. So you got plenty of space for your apps, your movies, music, all that kind of stuff. Considering how quick it is on LTE and how quick the processor is, it's very zippy to use. There's no problem switching between apps or moving around inter handset. So it's been a brilliant phone, something I've been really looking forward to, with a beautiful design. It's available in-store today and at Telstra.com. You can subscribe to the channel below. There's also a link there so you can get to the Telstra website and see the handset there. Thanks for joining us here at the Tech Bar and I hope to see you again."
