Today we’re launching a brand new offer called Telstra Pre-Paid Beyond Talk™, perfect for Pre-Paid customers who want great value but don’t want a Cap.
We continue to listen to our customers, which is why our latest offer retains some highly popular features we know our Pre-Paid community will love.
For instance, with our new offer you get a generous 30 days expiry and the ability to rollover unused credit up to the value of $300 – all on Australia’s largest and fastest national mobile network.
We are also dishing out some nice bonuses, depending on your recharge level.
Simply recharge $30 with Telstra Pre-Paid Beyond Talk™ and you can enjoy three great bonuses:
- Up to 200 minutes of Talk Time
- 1 cent text to Telstra mobiles
- 200MB included data
And for those who want a little more out of their Beyond Talk™ offer, there’s the option to recharge $50 and enjoy more than double the value, plus unlimited texts to standard Australian numbers.

How is this different to the Telstra Prepaid Cap Encore offer?
I think you gain txts but lose some data?
its worse
I am on this plan but my texts cost 29c even after I recharge …
I just find all the plans totally obscure. I am on beyond talk and about 3 days topped up with $30 so how come after making one call on my phone to another cellphone (0402 prefix) for about 5 minutes – I get a message saying I have $1 left while my credit balance says $30.
just what does 200 mins talk time mean?
And how come I can never get a connection to my gmail from my phone – 9 times out of ten it says no connection.
Its my first smartphone and so far OH SO disappointing.
This happened to me. Contact Telstra. They re-credited my account as the package hadn’t connected properly.
Hope you get some money back:)
This is crapcap encore I’d the way to.go with extra credit for talk and textand lots of mega bites and its few after 6pm till 6 am. This would most likely be a good plan for people that don’t use their phone
as for above comments on the gmail not loading check your phones settings
If i get $10 included credit with my sim, it costs 29c does it not start my cap until I have recharged $30???
I’m on the beyond talk & I don’t have any problems with it
I have been on Cap offer, and I’ve just changed to this new beyond talk! Now after reading all your comments I am worried I’ve done the wrong thing. Any advice (anyone?)!!
I find beyond talk is great as i only call people in emergencys and most of the people i text are with telstra so i get 1 cent exts with them. Just be careful if u start texting people who arent with telstra because if u have a long convo then u will lose a lot of credit!!
1c texts only apply to Telstra Mobiles – not all mobiles !!!
