Joseph, I'm at a loss trying to find where in my comment I stated that I live in Trial Harbour, or any of the towns mentioned!...just merely highlighting how Telstra's banging their chests "1 to 1000 in 365 day blah blah blah" with propaganda and yet still in 2012 can't cover gaps in coverage despite huge profits.

Interesting to note that on ACMA's website a licence was issued back on 24th August 2009 for a next g tower at Strathgordon...still nothing!, so WTF???

And by judging the tone of your comment you must work for them!

Trial Habour? Honestly dude, I took a look at your complaint in Google Maps and I counted 36 lots (houses) near Trial Habour in Remine. That's right - 36... Are you serious? You want Internet access? Move somewhere populated!
Otherwise enjoy the piece and quiet of living in places ordinarily reserved for camping.

Btw you can buy a Telstra NextG fixed wireless service with a very large antenna that will get you Internet service almost anywhere. Enquire with Telstra business.

I know what mobile phone coverage is like in Tasmania when i went down there twice from Brisbane with the next g coverage and i remember the first time i went my cdma phone worked in areas where none of the other networks didn't have coverage and the last time i went down to Tasmania the iPhone worked very well on the next g network and i did have no coverage in some areas and i found i had great coverage in Betham in Tasmania and Telstra should LTE coverage when they build more towers and there should be LTE on King Island and Flinders island and Tassie could have 100% coverage without a problem.

Yes, all well and good, however there are still, in Mid 2012, places here in Tasmania that can't even obtain a Next G signal, or any mobile phone signal, such as Lonnavale, Woodsdale, Strathgordon, Wayatinah, Tarraleah, Granville Harbour, Trial Harbour, Corinna...just to name some!...and please don't ask "have you checked another phone, antenna, cables etc etc"...done all that!
