Like many of you, I’m always looking at ways to maximise my productivity without being tied to my desk or PC – technology such as my smart phone and Apple iPad® are fantastic at filling the time in my day that was previously wasted – I can stay on top of emails, sports scores, the latest news and now I can manage my Telstra products and services.
Today we’ve got some exciting news for iPad lovers- the launch of our new Telstra 24×7 App for iPad. It’s a convenient way to help you stay in control of your all your personal Telstra accounts and services (linked to My Account) and manage them on the go – or from the comfort of your couch with a cup of tea in hand if that’s what you prefer.
Telstra 24×7 App for iPad is the first app off the rank in a suite of apps designed by us to help make life easier for you to you. We’re not stopping here – in the coming months we are hoping to deliver Telstra 24×7 Apps for your iPhone as well as Facebook – facebook.com/Telstra24x7 and other phone operating systems.
With this nifty little app, specifically designed for your Apple iPad, you can:
- Securely and easily access all your active services linked to your ‘My Account’
- If you’re on a mobile plan or select BigPond® broadband plan, keep tabs on your usage (keep in mind it might take 48 hours for the app to display updated information)
- View up to 8 months bill summary information (which is rather handy at tax time)
- Touch through to securely pay your Telstra bill online at Telstra.com
- Locate a Telstra store convenient to you
- Get help and support 24×7 by Live Chat, CrowdSupport® (our peer-to-peer customer forum – requires CrowdSupport login), Twitter (requires a Twitter account), and our Facebook 24×7 service.
Got a Telstra Pre-Paid service? You can also:

- Recharge your service within the App

12 months would be much more handy of course – why the 8 month limit? How much more coding work or storage would 12 months really have required?
I can get 5 years of online statements from my bank.
Agree, where is the customer insight here?
Doesn’t feel like this app is adding much value over what I can already do online.
iPhone?
Monty, Telstra Xoom owners/ Android system, have been hearing for just on 12 months now that something like this was going to be available. Steve Baker and his Telstra one app, an app by the way which has been sitting on the Telstra Xoom since the first day of release and does nothing zip narda, has been promised for 12 months to covver usages etc. and still nothing, just not good enough.

The payment history is incorrect, it’s not showing the exact amount that i have paid. It showing a different figure. Also there is no direct number for the telstra 24×7 app so we couldn’t leave a feedback.
