		<description>Michael, I hate to challenge your stereotypes of younger generations, but the vast majority of us don&#039;t use &quot;like&quot; at the end of every sentence. The characterising of Gen X and Gen Y as possessing inadequate communications skills is one of my greatest pet hates.

Also, much of Gen Y and virtually all of Gen X will remember a world without mobile phones, just as I do. The wide spread availability and mobile phones is a much more recent phenomena than we realise. It wasn&#039;t until the late 1990s/early 2000s that the transition to wide spread mobile ownership became the norm. 

Most of the people who have grown up in the internet age are just starting to hit high school in the next year or so, having been born since 2000.</description>
