With the rise of smartphones and tablets in Australia it’s no wonder we’re seeing people’s use of web browsing while ‘out and about’ skyrocket. Sure Australian’s still use their phones to send text messages and take photos, but use of the mobile web is growing rapidly which means consumers are connected everywhere – even when they’re on the go!

Telstra Exchange QR codeThis infographic below shows the increasing number of smartphone users using their handset for internet browsing – which leads me to announce something the team is very excited about, the launch of the Telstra Exchange blog site for mobile.

We’re thrilled to launch our new mobile offering because it gives us a chance to reach out further and engage with more people, in more ways, with our Telstra stories. Being easy to access and ‘mobile friendly’ hopefully means you, our loyal readers, can now check out and catch-up on the latest Telstra stories no matter where you are.

To view the mobile version of Telstra Exchange you can search for Telstra Exchange on your phone exchange.telstra.com.au or you can scan the QR code above right.

  1. Ray says:

It looks OK but even on the HTC Sensation everything looks very small. The text is hard to read and the buttons/links etc you need to be somewhat precise when tapping. It just needs to be slightly bigger and it would be great. Nice start though.

  2. Site looks good guys. Tested on my Android. Interested to hear what your mobile browsing stats are like for this site and at what point you decided a mobile version was needed. This is a question many small businesses will be asking.
