If I put my cynic hat on for just a second, is this not just brain-storming by a fancier name?

I'm not decrying the concept at all - but it fundamentally is just a brain-storm made to look prettier by the addition of colour, which has long been a recommended technique of brain-storming.

Don't get me wrong, brain-storming is an extremely useful process, especially being able to turn a whiteboard brain-storm into something visually engaging like the above, but I'm just a fan of calling a spade and spade, rather than a sharp edged, long handled, digging tool.
