Midsumma Carnival 2012 – the sun was shining, the atmosphere was amazing.

Myself, One Team and the Telstra Citizen Reporters were out and about promoting our fab Telstra stall and our support of the GLBTI community, and what a response we received from the crowd with many being surprised to see such a large organisation out and in the open supporting their community. For me, it is fantastic to see Telstra, one of Australia’s largest employers, get behind their GLBTI staff and give them the opportunity to get out there and show their support to an event they believe in, knowing their employer was fully supportive of their culture. It not only means alot to the community but also to the GLBTI staff that Telstra employs.

I would personally like to thank everyone involved on the day to ensure that it was a great success for our GLBTI staff, community and Telstra. If it was not for your great determination, dedication and commitment this event would not have been as successful as it was.
