Evening Boost for Pre-Paid Customers
For me, 6pm signals the start of my daily downtime. There is nothing better than switching off from the daily grind, and switching on to the things that matter- family and friends. Whether, like me, you spend your evenings relaxing from work, or if 6pm signals the start of a night out on the town, nights are a great time for us all to connect.
And to feed your out-of-hours connection fix, I’m excited to announce one of our best offers yet for both new and existing Pre-Paid customers.
From today, customers on the Pre-Paid Cap+ offer can take advantage of Unlimited Nights which gives you Free talk and text to standard Australian numbers from 6pm until midnight on every recharge of $30 or more until 31st October 2011. As an additional bonus, recharges of $30 or $40 will receive extra Bonus Data allowance with each recharge to help with your daily dose of facebook. That’s all to use in Australia for 30 days.
So now you can spend your evenings talking, texting or- my new favourite- Tweeting until your head hits the pillow.
For more details of this latest offer, drop me a line in the comments section or head to the link below. I look forward to seeing what you think!

I think there needs to be a $50-2GB option because for me on my iPhone 4 1GB isn’t enough and 3GB is to much but if it wasn’t for the extra bonus data this plan would be a waste of time (like most of them).
With smart phones becoming more and more popular and the next iPhone coming out soon there will be a lot more data hungry smart phones on prepaid and as it stands I don’t think the plans are keeping up, for one thing all plans should come with data and excess data should be getting cheaper.
Also the data rounding is a rip off I started the text and data plan the other day and couldn’t believe that i used 50MB in about 4 hours with out even doing any downloads.
How is it that if i get my phone out check twitter and use maybe 10kb it gets rounded up to 100kb then someone sends me a facebook message my phone uses push notifications to let me know there’s 100kb, a email there’s another 100kb.
Its like going to a shop and being told every purchase rounds up to the next $
can you wipe my contract so i can go on prepaid? lol..
it sucks being on prepaid but they get all the good deals!
lolll.
bring something like this to postpaid please!
Why is it that as usual, Post Paid customers miss out? For the privilege of being tied to an inflexible contract they’re charged a whopping price for calls and receive none of this type of offer. Your post paid customers are not second grade cr*p.
From the “things you need to know” section of this offer:
“Offers end on 31 October 2011 unless withdrawn earlier or extended…” You don’t say!
“The train will arrive on Thursday. Unless it’s later. Or earlier.”
I know that “standard Australian numbers” exclude some usage; such as calls/text/MMS to satellite numbers and premium numbers (e.g. 19xx numbers); operator assisted and info calls (e.g. most 12xx numbers); content charges; MessageBank; diverted calls and all use while overseas.
I couldn’t find more information.
So forgive my ignorance but does are Australian mobile phone numbers considered standard Australia numbers.
Also, how much “bonus data” (mentioned above) will one get with the various recharge amounts?
Thanks!
Hi I am VERY interested in porting my prepaid Optus number to this deal HOWEVER does the Unlimited nights END on 22 October as that is really the main reason for switching. Don’t want to switch get one month then find if I had stayed with Optus would have still had my Optus free time and YES weekends for 20 cents ? Please advise Thanks J
PS My two sisters told me about this offer and I thought too good to be true they have both switched over from Optus as we used to all be able to ring each other but had to watch the time getting close to the 20 minutes so we did not go over
Hi Janette, I’ll ask for you.
Surely the offer goes on but you cannot choose ‘unlimited nights’ as an option after October 31st……I would like this checked too.
