Go online for a chance to have your Telstra bill paid for a whole year
Filed under: billing, consumer, internet, my account, paperless bill
I have a confession to make… I can be a bit disorganised. Concert tickets from two years ago, overseas shopping dockets and random takeaway menus line my drawers at home.
Fortunately, my finances are in much better order as despite my disorganised tendencies, I have been organising and paying all my bills online for a long time.
There can be several benefits to this: having a nice record of bills for tax time or reimbursements, is one, being able to pay bills while travelling another, but most of all it can save money by avoiding late fees. (I don’t think I have to mention the benefits of not having to physically go to a store and line up in front of a counter…)
So I’m truly excited to announce our latest Telstra Digital promotion, which highlights these benefits for Telstra customers, but also gives away a great prize for every single day of the promotion.
Simply sign up for a paperless bill, make an online payment at telstra.com or register your credit card or bank details for automatic bill payments and enter the draw to win your Telstra bills paid for a year (up to $2,500 for each winner).
There’s one winner for every day of the promotion to 30 September 2011, which means 89 lucky Telstra customers won’t have to worry about paying their Telstra bill for a whole year.
Remember to submit your entry before 30 September 2011 to go in the draw.

Paperless bills and electronic payments put you in control!
Our paperless bills let you organise your affairs better and potentially save money by avoiding fees.
Electronic payments (automatic or one off) are simple and can potentially save you money and fees – let alone it beats lining up in front of a counter.

Slight problem. You can reigster for the prize draw with account number of phone number, but you can’t complete the next step without an account number. If I had known that I would have waited until I had that bit of info on me.
Hi, I already have recently changed over to paperless billing from Telstra. I recieve my bill via a PDF file each month.
What I am asking is, How do I join this promotion???
Cheers
Greg
Hi – you can enter by making a payment online. Good luck.
I’ve gone paperless this best thing ever!!
Great copy combined with a great contest. How else this promotion being marketed?
My Account – I have registered, I can log on, then I get an error message 3003. My Account tab displays as Welcome Alexander, which means I am logged in. The error tells me to register for this service. This is getting very frustrating, I log on any opportunity, it has nothing to do with outages. When will Telstra fix this please?
According to your email sent to me on the 19.8.2011, the competition started on 4.7.2011, so I’ve missed out on over 40 days to win a prize! As I do not want to go paperless or pay my bill online, (which would secure me an aditional entry), there is no link to complete a quick enrty form, as stated in your email. “All you need to do to go into the draw is complete a quick entry form, and for an additional entry, register for paperless billing – all before 30 September 2011.”
Are BPay and BPay View classified as online paperless billing and if so, why am I still receiving paper statements?
Hi Debbie, BPay and BPay View are payment methods rather than methods of receiving bills. You can arrange paperless bills via my account billing choices.
Trying to register to paperless billing, when i get to the stage “Emailing Terms and Conditions”and try to read these, it comes up with a message “page cannot be found” I would really like to read these before I commit. Then the Telstra website freezes. The Telstra/bigpond website is also very very slow. Other website I try work fine
I didn’t know there is qeue for this competition. My July/August a/c did not include an invite to participate.Again I have been hard done by.
Can I be in the promo if I already pay direct debit?
Every opportunity given to lend a helping hand with payment of the bill is great.
Why did Telstra change the cost of calls to 1300 numbers to 30 cents?? The greater majority of companies have 1300 numbers now. I really can’t understand why it should cost more for the consumer to ring 1300 numbers as opposed to normal calls. I would really appreciate an answer, as I did not get a reply to my post on 20.8.2011, regarding the misleading information in the email sent to me regarding the current competition.
