blog-christopher-newell-prize-2011banner

Having focused my life’s work on making a difference for a more equitable society, I was pleased to join Telstra recently to present the Christopher J Newell Prize which recognises innovation in communications that make a positive impact on the lives of people with disability.

About the Christopher J Newell Prize

The $15,000 Christopher J Newell Prize is awarded for the best original papers offered for publication by the Telecommunications Journal Australia that demonstrate the tangible benefits an innovative use of telecommunications technology can deliver in assisting individuals with disabilities. The prize recognises and commemorates the ground-breaking work the late Revd Canon Dr Christopher Newell AM undertook within the telecommunications industry 1990-2008 representing the needs of people with disability. Papers are published in the telecommunications Journal of Australia. Visit the Telecommunications Journal of Australia to find out more.

We have just got 2 x T54′s on 24 mths plan.
Cannot open the charging port – would be nice with all the technology available if whoever was writing the user manual just gave it to their mother to try first.
They would quickly realise the need for some simple instructions/diagram etc.
We still have not worked it out, so pls help!!
