Getting help for your ideas – TelstraTalks – Podcast #1
Filed under: Blog For Good, community, Facebook, Plan Big, podcast, social media, thinking, Twitter
One of the things that is great about our team here in Telstra is that we love social media to the point of obsession. We constantly share new sites, ideas and issues with each other and enjoy the ensuing conversation. So we thought that we might start a weekly podcast where we talk about social media, changing the world and other topics of great importance.
For this first podcast, we’re talking about how you can use social media to help get your ideas from inside your head to reality. It’s linked to another initiative, blogforgood, but that is more because it’s top of mind. The purpose of this podcast is to show a really interesting way that you can use social media to change your corner of the world.
Of course we’d love your feedback (be nice- it’s our first one) and any ideas or suggestions on what you like us to talk about next. You might even want to come in and talk with us too.

Is it possible to get this site on the Bigpond unmetered. I live in the bush on Telstra mobile wireless so can’t spare bandwidth for podcasts and the such (as much as i would like to). Or is this unmetered already?
Instead of blowing your own horn, shouldn’t you fix “customer relations” and “customer service” first!!!!!!!
Spending time looking after your customers instead of telling them how good you are is worth a lot more!
Remember we are not all dummwits and BS does not work in the long term
Yes I am a customer , but also a share holder.
It is in the interest of both that you pick up the game and go to a much higher level of actual service until the customers actually love doing business with Telstra and not because you have the monopoly in some areas.
I love the podcast format guys – looking forward to more.
I’m a fan of Planbig, it’s how I stumbled across another great idea, The IF Project – now a reality at http://ifprojectmag.com
Keep ‘em coming!
Hi
Thanks for your comments.
Allison it’s not unmetered I’m afraid. Maybe we need to look into a transcript (eventually) to help with bandwidth.
Jack I’m sorry you feel that way. If you actually listen to the podcast you’ll find that it’s not about us, it’s about plan.big.com.au. We’re also working hard on customer relations and customer service so is there something specific we can help you with? We would love to help you out if we can.
Thanks
Kristen
