That's great news, Andrew. Forgive me if I take this with a grain of salt, because Telstra clearly promised to deliver the Nodo update for WP7 in April, and failed to keep that promise. As an enthusiastic WP7 supporter, and the proud owner of an HTC Mozart, I am astonished to see how long it has taken to finish "testing" this update -- an update already released by almost every other carrier on the planet, and already available on the Telstra HTC HD7. Apart from the screen size, the Mozart & HD7 have almost identical specs, so saying the Mozart needed an extra month or two to test is simply a joke, and another failure on Telstra's part.

Thankfully you mention the new security update will be bundled in next week, but I fear for all future WP7 updates if this experience with Telstra is anything to go by. Seriously, you almost make me want to jump ship to an iPhone, and that'd be like eating razor blades for someone like me...

Hi everyone,
I wanted to provide an update on where we are at with our Windows Phone 7 software releases.
Telstra has now tested and approved “copy and paste” updates for the HTC Mozart and Optimus 7Q and we expect Microsoft to make them available to download mid next week.
Telstra has also prioritised the testing of a further software update called the “7392 update” and this is included in our “copy and paste” software releases. A separate “7392 update” release will also be available to HTC HD7 customers shortly. More about the “7392 update” here
Thanks for your patience while we worked with Microsoft and our handset vendors to make this software available.

Looks like the Cut & Paste update is being released to "open Market" windows phones first:
http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_phone/b/windowsphone/archive/2011/03/23/copy-and-paste-update-status.aspx

For those of us with Telstra 'branded' phones, we will have to wait until Telstra tells Microsoft they have completed their testing of the update on their network. See the following link for the process: http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_phone/b/windowsphone/archive/2011/03/10/phone-updates-process-and-timing.aspx

Come on Telstra Mobile Team, Optus is already delivering the update:

I am waiting for this update too. It is now late March, and Microsoft has just released OS version: 7.0.7390.0 to enable copy-and-paste (among other changes). My Mozart still hasn't asked me to update to OS version: 7.0.7008.0 (February). Would this update be pushed directly from Microsoft, or the carrier i'm wondering? The fact is Windows Phone 7 devices need to be connected to the PC using Zune software to update leads me to think it's Microsoft specific.

Windows Phone 7 Outlook app syncs perfectly with exchange. With the new update (April), copy-and-paste is enabled. Update your phone.

The windows phone 7 dev kit makes it extremely easy to create apps for this system. I would bet the devs who created your app would create an update to your software. However, depending on your subsription to the software, you may (or may not) need to pay for it again. Check the developers' website.

I have had a HTC Mozart phone since late December 2010 and it is the worst phone I have ever had the battery life is crap and also at thsi point in time the phone is not only asking me for me sim which isn't a problem but also requesting that I enter a password which I have never had. I contacted telstra and they were unable to assist and put me through to the manufacturer who also could not help, I've now been unable to use my phone for 2 days and am extremely disatisified as I am locked into a 24 month contract.
I would not recommend this phone to anyone
