We are attempting to do something a wee bit interesting tonight. We’re not exactly sure how it will turn out but we thought you might like to join us in this social media experiment.

As you may know there is a Masterchef crew cooking up apple treats at 400 George Street in Sydney tonight. KissChasey will perform there too.

In Melbourne, at 246 Bourke Street (Cnr Bourke and Swanston), Zoe Badwi will entertain the peeps with her new hit “Free Fallin’” and her Aria number #1 single ‘Release Me’.

We want to make sure everyone is part of the fun. So we’re running a live chat stream on this site from 8:30pm tonight. There’s heaps you can do to join in the fun and if all goes well you will feel like you’re at the party even though you may be at home in your jim jams.

What are we doing?
A live chat stream from 8:30pm that could turn into a virtual party, including:

• celebrity interviews
• Q&A with some of your Masterchef favourites
• behind-the-scenes pics, video and goss

We’ll also be busy on YouTube, facebook, flickr and Twitter for the duration.

What can you do?

• Ask Masterchef contestants questions via Twitter or CoverItLive and we’ll report their answers live
• Participate in an online “Invention Test”. We will reveal some VERY SIMPLE ingredients, you make a dish at home (don’t worry it won’t take long to make), send in a photo of it and the Masterchef contestants will judge your entries
• See exclusive behind the scenes pics and videos
• Send us your thoughts, pics, videos and contributions to this virtual event
