Telstra iPhone 4 Midnight Launch

iPhone 4 is almost here and we’re turning up the heat this Thursday with a once-in-a-lifetime party for iPhone and MasterChef lovers alike…

To celebrate the launch of the new iPhone 4, we’re calling on Sydneysiders to head down to Telstra’s 400 George Street Store this Thursday evening and make their Masterchef dreams a reality.

With critic, judge and co-host Matt Preston at their side, MasterChef Series 2 winner Adam Liaw and runner-up Callum Hann will be on-hand to “wow” the crowd lining up to purchase the new iPhone at midnight. Plus, popular former MasterChef Series 2 finalists Marion Grasby, Alvin Quah, Courtney Roulston and Matthew Caldicott will also be there to help get the party started.

We’ve got an action-packed night planned – from tasty apple treats prepared by the contestants to high-energy cook-offs,  so this is one launch event you won’t want to miss!

  1. Ross says:

Can you please release information on the cap plans for business! I want to get a phone at launch but can’t get consumer plans on our business account in legacy!!!!!!

  2. Heard rumours the Perth launch is off? Due to the old trading laws rubbish. Still on?

Any luck visual voicemail will be out?

  5. Cam says:

Eew, I just found out from your Twitter team that you guys are retaining the $150 unlock fee.

I can’t understand why you punish your customers like that! They’ve signed a contract anyway, with termination fees. The unlocking process is trivially easy.

How can you charge so much for it? What’s the justification?

  6. Matt says:

    What about Melbourne??????

  7. Great news. Very tempted to rock up and grab an iPhone. I wonder what Matt Preston’s favourite app is…

    That is a brilliant drawcard!!

  9. Matt says:

Plans and pricing are ok, except for the super stingy data… umm … hello its 2010… we dont like surprise excess bills in the hundreds!

  10. Have a feeling regarding Business caps it will be on an MRO, with the MRO credit.

  11. Midol says:

Not really sure why anyone wants a defective phone anyway when we have phones like the Desire and HTC Xperia X10 out there…

  13. smile canberra t life store employees! says:

    how about the ACT?

probably cause the grumpy employees at the t-tile store in canberra centre said no.

cheer up chums, smile once in a while!

  14. Ryan says:

I rather get a toy from Toys ‘R’ Us than to queue up for one.
