Hi Lillian
Thanks for your comment.
An update for you - I sold my Sony eReader and purchased an iPad. I use the iPad these days for reading books - but actually do regret selling the eReader.
Ironically, I searched high and low to get one for my mother - and had to eventually purchase a smaller screen version.
As far as dedicated eBook devices go - I still believe the Sony range is great - and have grown to like the Kindle as well.
Good luck with your search.

Hi Michael,

I appreciated your insights as I am in the market for an ebook and it is helpful to get user feedback. I too am a Sony fan and will probably go that way myself. Though I await with intersest interest for what apple supplies us with. Thank you for sharing your insights.

Good one Michael, a colleague at work also purchased one of these and I must admit I was fairly envious as I have always really liked Sony products and it is really nicely finished and presented as a classy bit of tech.
I wonder how you will go getting books easily and readily? Be interested in a recap review after you have lived with it for a while. A eBook reader would be really handy for me at Uni right now, I have one text book that would probably cost more than standard luggage on a plane at the moment!
