Mawson’s Hut Antarctic expedition

The Mawson’s Huts Foundation has been established to conserve in perpetuity for the Australian people the unique, historical buildings known as Mawson’s Huts – the base for one of the most significant expeditions in Antarctic history.  Telstra International is proudly supporting the 2009/2010 expedition.

Join us here on Telstra Exchange over the coming months as we post a series of blogs from the expedition team. In this blog, sent to us direct from the Antarctic, the team gives us an introduction to the expedition and the lay of the land.

Brilliant! As a parent of one of the Expedition team and following closely the day to day activities at Cape Denison this video link up is wonderful in the sense that it brings it all to life and enables a clearer appreciation of what it is really like down there. Well done, it’s great to see Telstra involved in an Australian Adventure.
